Hi guys,
i bought two waterproof digicams a while ago and i tried to get good and stable pictures from my kites. here are my solutions:
1. kitecam
the camera is mounted on the lower skin with self-adhesive velcro tapes. the camera itself is mounted on a small piece of alloy, which is screwed to a plastic plate using 3 screws. you can adjust the camera's viewangle by adding some shims to the 3 screws. note where i placed the plastic piece (wrapped it with black kitefix tape, just for style) on the kite (see picture). make sure you place the mount right over the internal strap and over 2 seams - if you don't do this, you will get lots of jitter.
i am using ABS (4 mm thick), which can bend in case the kite inverts... for safety reasons i have attached a safety line to the camera's housing, which goes to the trailing edge then through the deflate zipper into the kite where it's attached to the inner strap of the kite. so if the velcro collapses, i still have my camera connected to the kite.

2. adjustercam
the camera is mounted on a small piece of alloy, which is attached to the front lines (see picture). on one side its blocked with a stopperball (so the camera cannot slide up) - the other powerline can freely move (i have front line safety). this way you can still use your safety (just in case, you never know...). once again i have a small safety line attached to the camera's housing.

3. boardcam
again i used a small piece of alloy, which is screwed to one of the boards fin. the camera's safety line is attached to the other fin.

4. boom-, masttop- and barmount:
i have also constructed a mount for my friends boom, masttop or even my bar. i did not test the mount though - no wind ;( anyway, here are some pics of it:

so take this as some sort of inspiration to try other cool view angles...
cameras used:
digital hero 3 and digital hero 5 wide / fisheye, both modded by me for lithiumpolymer battery use. those batteries work pretty good, even in cold winter kite sessions.

feel free to comment this or post your links to your kitecam site. any feeback appreciated.
stay cool, hang lose and have fun!
